The aim of the course is to train KOMBAT SILAT and Defense Personal Instructors characterized by extreme professionalism and competence, taking care of both the technical program and the didactic and organizational aspects. The KOMBAT SILAT Instructor Training Course is dedicated to anyone who wants to learn (or improve) a valid, fast and intuitive system; important is that he has a minimum of knowledge of martial arts, personal defense systems or combat sports.
PROGRAM
The 10 stages of the instructor course study
1- DESTRUCTION (strikes with upper body parts)
Straight punches: punches from different distances (Jab Cross)
Fast punches: hooks, upper-hooks, hammer
Elbow strikes: blows in 10 directions
Introduction to the open hands’ technique
2- THE TORNADOS (strikes with lower body parts)
Kicks: front, back and lateral
Steps: high and low, hook and sweeping
Sneaky and unusual passages: the close distance
Knee strikes: blows in 6 different directions (traditional and flying)
3- THE BREAKOUT (constructing the guards and shifts to the side)
6 main parries: one or both arms
7 outlets: 4 external and 3 internal retractions
Dodge: the Philippine’s method
4- THE CAGE (lever and immobilization)
3 main guards
24 types of toggles: wrist, elbow and shoulder
Immobilization: attacking the upper part of the body

5- THE ABYSS (the strangling, levering the neck, and learning the pressure points)
Suffocation: strangulation techniques
Pressure points: the arms, zones on the neck and face
6- THE WANDERING SAND (on the ground technique, and attacks to imbalance the opponent)
